More Stanstead ‘flights’ taking off from Liverpool St station

More ‘airport express’ trains are being laid on from London to Stansted in the
New Year.   An extra 13 trains a week start on January 2nd to meet the increased
demand of air passengers, the train operators announced today.   It means passengers
on late night and early morning flights now get more rail connections to and from
central London, seven days a week.

Around 40% of Stansted passengers use public transport, the highest ratio for
a major UK airport and one of the highest in Europe.

Last trains from Stansted:

12.30am to Liverpool St daily (previously only Mon, Fri, Sat & Sun). Two extra 1am and 1.30am trains to Liverpool St will run Mon, Fri & Sat.

First Trains from Liverpool Street:

4.30am to Stansted Mon, Fri, Sat & Sun to start 20-mins earlier at 4.10am,
the 4.55am daily to Stansted to start 15-mins later at 4.40am.

On Sundays the 5.25am and 5.55am to Stansted departing 45-mins earlier at 5.10am
and 5.40am respectively. On Mondays, an additional 3.40am to Stansted is being
added.
