In May 2011 there were approx  19,267,000   passengers,
which is up 7.4% compared to March 2010. (Partly effect of Royal Wedding holiday on 29th April, but also unrealistic comparison due to the ash cloud effect in April 2010).

In April 2010 there were 14,059,600 passengers approximately which was – 22.5%
down
compared to April 2009   2010 – 04
