ONE of the country’s biggest low budget airlines has handed a New Year boost
to Robin Hood Airport by announcing the launch of a 3rd sunshine route.

Ryanair has expanded its summer schedule by offering twice weekly flights from
Doncaster to top Algarve destination Faro.

The flights, which will start on March 29, are set to operate on Tuesdays and
Saturdays.

The firm currently flies to Alicante in Spain from the Finningley terminal and
announced last week it will take tourists to Tenerife from February.

It is another boost for Robin Hood after easyJet, which operated several routes
to top European destinations including Faro, announced all its flights from the
airport will stop in early January.

Maria Macken, Ryanair’s sales and marketing executive for UK and Ireland, said
the firm was delighted to announce the new route from Doncaster.

She added: “Ryanair now offers passengers in South Yorkshire the choice of three
fantastic sun destinations.”

Fares from Doncaster to Faro start from £27.99.
