Lydd Airport Planning Application Submitted

Lydd Airport is proposing to increase passenger numbers at the airport from 4500
per annum in 2003 to 2 million per annum in 2011, and to further increase number
to 6 million per annum by 2021.   This would make the airport comparable to Luton
Airport today.   As well as the aircraft noise and pollution there will be many
extra car journeys to and from the airport. Our road network simply won’t cope.
